Darius is book boyfriend material. I loved reading him and Justine's adventure at the House of Virtue. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This is a love story with a difference; neither Edward nor Harper had intentions of becoming friends. Edward was clearly suffering from trauma, torture and loss of his adopted family. As a woman, Harper was sent to help him overcome his old wild ways to be reintroduced into society. A brilliant read.

Very good adventure and romance. Imagine missing 15 years of life without your family. Think of the adjustments needed. I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and adventure.

Loved the story of Harper and Edward from the first page. The characters were so easy to connect with and honestly, I fell in love with Edward myself. I loved the strong h, she wasn’t afraid to do or say what she wanted! Truly a very good read!!

I've read a lot of regency romances and there are a limited amount of character types. But in The Wild Lord, Edward and Harper are so unique. Harper is a female doctor, brought in to literally stop Lord Edward to stop climbing the walls, after he's rescued from years in the jungle.Honestly, I totally sympathized with his desire to remain feral, as opposed to being stuffed in 6 layers of uncomfortable clothes in the dead of summer.Plus the writing was fresh and so evocative. I really enjoyed it.

4 1/2 stars. This was a fun story! Edward was amazing and Harper was an unusual young lady. They really suited each other and it was so nice to see their determination. It’s complete, but it left a couple of loose ends. What will happen to the sister, the brother, the little boy, and the grandmother? I look forward to reading more.

Edward was lost in Brazil as a teenager, he is found 10 years latter and dragged back to England in a cage. His father expects him to be the person he was and his brother wants to put him away in an asylum so he can take Edwards title and money, enter Harper the doctor to cure Edward of his wildness. What an adventurous wonderful story.

I enjoyed reading this book, which has an unusual p,ot and set of characters. The explanation at the end by the author if where and how she developed her story was interesting too. Very good!

This was a very interesting story. I enjoyed thelove story part and I know from what my father told me that people were put in sylums.

I loved this unique love story. I received it through prolific works. The author let me get just a taste of what women in general, especially women trying to enter the medical field were treated in this historical period. Not only does the heroine, Harper Forsythe, go through this stigma of this, she does the unforgivable, she falls in love with her patient. Their struggles to save him, “the Wild Lord”, and their love is truly breathtaking. I loved it from the very start. It took my breath away. Carrie Lorax is new to me, but I’m definitely pre-ordering the second book to find out what happens to Harper’s sister. I’m so gladly volunteering to give this review.

This was an intriguing and unique story that really held my interest. Edward was a wonderful hero who had lived a life far different from the one he had been intended to lead and I sympathized with his struggle to try to fit back into a society that considered him crazy. Harper was an independent woman trying to build a career as a doctor for the mentally ill in an age where men ruled. I found her a very determined woman and admired her for her courage to go after her dream. Edward and Harper had good chemistry together and I truly enjoyed them as a couple. The struggle they were forced to endure to be together only made me like them more. Great story!

I love this book simply because it's different. This book focusses on rejection as the main focal point. It tells of the struggles that Edward and Harper went through in order to be accepted by their family. Edward's task was to get him back to a behavior that would be termed as normal by his father and society, while Harper is to get to a place where she had never been, that was removed from her even before she was born. Appallingly, these situations were imposed by loved ones.
